Week 4 Term 2

For tech, I started science and made a device that contained a straw, a roll of tape, a balloon, 2 pins and a roll of thread. To infinity and beyond ... I guess. Everybody else had already started. After that, we started a marble run with the ingredients of 2 pieces of A3 bits of cardboard, tape, and scissors. I learnt that another word for an angle is gradient.

Week 2 Term 2

On Monday, we learnt how to play lacrosse. The instructor told us the history of lacrosse and why it existed. It was made to safely gain land and have fun competitively. We also learnt tricks and got some tips. I'm not very good at it yet but I still do want to play it. On Wednesday in tech, my truck started gaining its shape. It doesn't look as good as everybody else's but it still looks ok.

Term Two Week One

On Monday, week one, we learnt to edit our writing to a high standard and write descriptively. On Tuesday, we went to see Mike king. He explained his life story to us; along with what anxiety and depression could do to you and said what causes them and how to avoid them. He also told us what to do when in the same situation. He said drugs and alcohol don't help anything and said they started making him have a rage, inflicting most of his problems onto others. People started disrespecting him and he called out for help and got some counseling. Everything started going uphill for him and he doesn't regret what he was doing in his past because others learn from him.

Joining TAI

At first I was excited to join TAI, but then turned into a nervous feeling. There was lots of things rushing through my head, such as are they going to like me, are they not going like me. Just average things like that. When I finally arrived it was very welcoming.
